Model 7 Microscope

This is a nice, low cost microscope. The Model 7 is our easiest microscopes to use because it only has one focusing knob. If you are thinking about a Model 5 you should consider upgrading to the Model 7. The Model 7 features cool LED illumination.
All of the other Kokopelli Technologies microscopes feature coarse and fine focusing. To minimize the cost of this microscope we have eliminated the fine focus from the Model 7. You can focus adequately with the coarse focus, it's just not as nice as being able to really dial it in with the fine focus knob. We considered offering a Model 7 with a fine focus but the cost is so close to the Model 10 that you are far better off purchasing a Model 10.
Model 7 features include precision optical system, achromatic, optical glass lenses, and rugged metal components engineered for years of reliable performance.
Optical System
- Widefield 10x eyepiece with revolving pointer.
- 45° inclined head for ease of viewing when seated.
- Head rotates 360°.
- Color coded 4x, 10x, 40xR objectives provide 40x, 100x and 400x magnification.
- Revolving triple nosepiece with positive click stops for easy, precise magnification changes.
Illumination
- Cool illumination provided by a cordless LED light source- lighting equivalent to a 20-watt tungsten bulb, rechargeable NiMH batteries, auto cutoff recharger, on/off switch with rheostat control. Accepts 110 to 240V.
Focusing
- Rack and pinion focusing.
- Slip clutch protects focusing mechanism from over-turning.
- Tension adjustment eliminates focus drift.
- Rack stop prevents damage to slides and lenses.
- Coarse focus only.
Stage
- 88mm x 82mm stage (3-1/2 in. x 3-1/4 in.) with locked-on, spring activated stage clips.
- Disc diaphragm.
Frame
- Rugged cast metal with inclination joint, gray enamel finish.
- Height 295mm (11-3/4 in.).
- Net wt. 1.7 kgs (3.7 lbs).

Five Year Limited Warranty
This instrument is guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for 5 years from date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from abuse or misuse, repairs or alterations performed by other than authorized repair technicians or damage occurring in transit.
For warranty service, instrument should be well packed to avoid damage in transit, including a description of the difficulty, and shipped postage prepaid to Kokopelli Technologies, LLC at the address below. The instrument will be repaired or replaced at no charge and return postage prepaid. For customers living outside the United States, standard warranty service will be provided. However, inbound & outbound shipping cost is the responsibility of the consumer. If failure was caused by misuse, alterations, accident, or abnormal conditions of operation, an estimate for repairs will be submitted for your approval prior to work being performed
