Cool LED illumination delivers higher light efficiency than the more common, and less expensive, tungsten bulbs. Cool operating temperature prolongs specimen life. Tungsten or halogen lights, found on many microscopes, are too hot for live samples. This microscope combines high quality optics, extra rugged construction, and user-friendly features.
Optical System
- Widefield 10x eyepiece with revolving pointer.
- 45° inclined viewing head rotates 360° for easy sharing by more than one viewer or for reverse position viewing.
- 40x, 100x and 400x magnification.
- DIN standard, achromatic, parfocalled, parcentered, and color-coded: 4x (0.10 N.A.), 10x (0.25 N.A.), and 40xR (0.65 N.A.) objectives.
- 3-hole nosepiece is ball-bearing mounted for more precise alignment, has positive click stops.
Illumination
- LED light rated up to 100,000 hours life. Delivers greater light and longer life than standard tungsten bulbs. Cool burning illumination equal to a 20 watt tungsten bulb.
- Base mounted on/off switch, heavy-duty 3-wire cord.
Focusing
- Separate low position coarse and fine focusing controls.
- Stage moves up or down, eyepiece and body remain fixed.
- Coarse focusing has slip clutch to prevent damage to focusing system.
- Tension adjustment eliminates stage drift.
- Safety rack stop prevents damage to slides and objective lenses.
Stage
- Large 110mm x 120mm (4-3/8 in. x 4-3/4 in.) stage, with locked-on spring mounted stage clips, is drilled and tapped to accept optional mechanical stage.
- Built-in 0.65NA condenser lens.
- Calibrated 5-hole disc diaphragm.
Frame
- Rugged cast metal, gray enamel finish.
- Height 365mm (14-1/2 in).
- Net wt. 3.4 kgs (7.4 lbs).

Lifetime Limited Warranty
The Model 10 Microscope is guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the life of the instrument. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from abuse or misuse, repairs or alterations performed by other than authorized repair technicians, or damage occurring in transit. The warranty does not cover bulbs, power supplies, fuses, cords, or add-on accessories such as mechanical specimen holders that are not built into the microscope stage as an integral part of original manufacture. Warranty does not cover lenses that have become inoperable due to excessive dirtiness as a result of misuse or lack of normal maintenance.
Any cameras and software supplied with this microscope are warranted from date of purchase as follows: Cameras, 1-year limited warranty. Software, 90-day limited warranty.
Other than set forth above, Kokopelli Technologies, LLC hereby disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
While it is not necessary to register your purchase of a microscope, any camera or software must be registered by completing and mailing the warranty registration card enclosed with such product.
For warranty service, instrument should be well packed to avoid damage in transit, accompanied by a description of the difficulty and return instructions, and shipped postage prepaid to Kokopelli Technologies, LLC at the address below. Kokopelli Technologies, LLC will repair or replace at no charge and return postage prepaid. For customers living outside the United States, Kokopelli Technologies, LLC will provide standard warranty service. However, inbound & outbound shipping cost is the responsibility of the consumer. If failure was caused by misuse, alterations, accident or abnormal conditions of operation, an estimate for repairs will be submitted for approval prior to work being performed.
