Model DC-128 Digital Microscope
This compound microscope and digital camera combination includes a 100x oil immersion objective lens, 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser, and a rechargeable LED illumination system. The quality digital camera and included Motic Software can be used on both PC and Mac computers. Do not forget to order immersion oil.

OPTICAL SYSTEM
- Widefield 10x eyepiece with pointer.
- 45° inclined monocular viewing head.
- DIN standard 4x (0.10 N.A.), 10x (0.25 N.A.) and 40xR 0.65 N.A.) objectives are supplied for 40x, 100x and 400x magnification. Also included is a 100xR (1.25 N.A.) oil immersion lens for 1000x magnification. All lenses are achromatic, parfocalled, parcentered and color-coded.
- 4-hole objective turret with click-stops, ball-bearing mounted for smooth, precise changes in magnification.
ILLUMINATION
- LED illumination rated up to 100,000 hours life, with light output equal to a 20 watt tungsten bulb, totally heat free.
- Rechargeable AA nickel metal hydride batteries can be recharged up to 1000 times, with each 8 hour charge providing up to 50 hours of operation, totaling 40-50,000 hours use from each set of 3 batteries.
- Automatic switching charger used to recharge batteries. The auto recharger will accept 120v to 240v current, either 50H or 60H, without the need for any additional transformer.
- Included recharger shuts off when batteries are fully charged, eliminating the danger of overcharging and shortening battery life. Microscope can be used during recharging, or recharger can remain plugged-in for conventional use.
- Rheostat light intensity control with separate on/off switch.
FOCUSING
- Separate low position coarse and fine focusing controls.
- Stage moves up or down, eyepiece and body remain fixed.
- Slip clutch prevents damage to focusing system.
- Tension adjustment eliminates stage drift.
- Safety rack stop prevents damage to slides and objective lenses.
STAGE
- Large 120mm x 120mm (4-3/4 in. x 4-3/4 in.) graduated mechanical stage, with a professional quality low profile specimen holder and low-position coaxial x-y controls.
- 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser with spiral focusing mount, iris diaphragm, built-in swing-out frosted glass filter.
FRAME
- Rugged cast metal, gray enamel finish.
- Height 340mm (13-3/8 in.). Net wt. 3.8 kgs (8.4 lbs).

The Camera
This model permits hook-up to computer with supplied USB cable. Easy-to-use software for capturing microscope images, labeling, measuring, storing, and e-mailing. Requires a PC with Windows 98 or above.

The Model DC-128 microscope is guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the life of the instrument. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from abuse or misuse, repairs or alterations performed by other than authorized repair technicians, or damage occurring in transit. The warranty does not cover bulbs, power supplies, fuses, cords, or add-on accessories such as mechanical specimen holders that are not built into the microscope stage as an integral part of original manufacture. Warranty does not cover lenses that have become inoperable due to excessive dirtiness as a result of misuse or lack of normal maintenance.
Cameras and software supplied with this microscope are warranted from date of purchase as follows: Cameras, 1-year limited warranty. Software, 90-day limited warranty.
Other than set forth above, Kokopelli Technologies, LLC hereby disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
While it is not necessary to register your purchase of a microscope, any camera or software must be registered by completing and mailing the warranty registration card enclosed with such product.
For warranty service, instrument should be well packed to avoid damage in transit, accompanied by a description of the difficulty and return instructions, and shipped postage prepaid to Kokopelli Technologies, LLC at the address below. Kokopelli Technologies, LLC will repair or replace at no charge and return postage prepaid. For customers living outside the United States, Kokopelli Technologies, LLC will provide standard warranty service. However, inbound & outbound shipping cost is the responsibility of the consumer. If failure was caused by misuse, alterations, accident or abnormal conditions of operation, an estimate for repairs will be submitted for approval prior to work being performed.
